Happy clients? As a customer service specialist, that’s what you come to work for! Do you like working directly with excited clients who are about to embark on their dream holiday? Do you have a reassuring and empathic manner? Well we’re looking for you. If you’re a creative problem solver who can handle pressure, then there’s a desk with your name on it.
What we do in an average day:
- Prepare and send clients travel documents and itinerary information
- Be the main point of contact for our UK clients who are about to go on holiday
- Answer clients questions via email and telephone before, during and after their trip
- Manage clients overseas with a hands on approach in the event of a natural disaster or emergency situation
- Gather feedback from clients so we can constantly improve our service
- Effectively communicate issues to our external suppliers, from airlines, accommodation hosts or insurers
- Discuss and give feedback internally to our colleagues in other departments
- Experience in the travel sector is not essential but would definitely be nice to have. It is more important that you are first and foremost, a people person, and you are stress resistant.

It is important that you can empathise with the client, and that you are stress resistant. It also helps if you understand the ‘world of travel’, or can imagine what is involved in taking a long journey.

What you need to bring to the table:
- Be a native English speaker, and have experience working with the UK market
- Great people skills and excellent telephone manner
- Love problem solving for clients
- You are stress resistant and can handle emergency situations in a cool collected way
